sqlrun INI file mandatory?

Postby Peter Halicky » Sat May 14, 2016 9:29 am

I am trying to set script to run multiple times sqlrun with command line parameters. When I try to remove sqlrun.ini (or not to use INI at all) it doesn't work. If I use sqlrun.ini, but try to override parameters with command line parameters it seems they are ignored. How to do it correctly?

Did you try to use -Q parameter to view actual options?
We never testing the tool without configuration file but command line must override it. Please contact support team by e-mail with detailed information.

I am using 32 bit version. Because modifying INI file before each run is inconvenient I created INI just with ODBC DSN. But when I run command line with parameters -Lmy.log -Smy.sql -Q nothing happened, no "my.log" was created, nor my.sql was run. (I am trying to re-register, but I am not able to pass the process and for forgotten password I fdon't have user name/e-mail...)

Try to provide full path instead of file name with -L and -S parameters if your current directory is not same as runner's one.
